I would like to introduce myself and our newly formed tour guide Association. My name is Alieya A. Kargbo. I am English and French Speaking Tour Guide working for Visit Sierra Leone as Operations Officer. I have 3 years working experience as a tourist guides in Sierra Leone. I am the Public Relations Officer of the National Association of Certified Tourist Guides (NACToG), licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and National Tourist Board. It is my greatest pleasure to be part of this forum which will enable me to get in touch with other guides around the world. I’m highly honoured and looking forward to further cooperation with others to promote tourism globally as ambassadors of our countries. I expect all of you, will in some way contribute to goodwill of our association (NACToG) in projecting Sierra Leone’s image to the world tourism arena.
